Surface Pattern Design

I recently came across this blogspot (http://printpattern.blogspot.com/) and i thought it was really interesting. This blog is about surface pattern design and i think all the patterns and prints that are displayed and discussed are all really graphic and professional. They are borrowed from various websites and discussed for the bloggers own personal use. I like the idea of mixing textiles and graphics together as i think texture is important. I think using textiles to put across graphic ideas and designs is interesting as this creates a potentially interactive, tactile product that has more than image to it. Incorporating this tactile quality is something i would be interested including in my own work.
