Type blocks

I really want some wooden or metal type blocks after seeing them on ebay. I would love to experiment with A-Z collages as i did earlier but on illustrator. I just think they didn't work as there was no texture to them and they seemed to lack character. So anybody looking to buy me a present i want some type blocks like these:
