1982

I have been given a year to research and then i will have to create a calendar based on my given year or at least a specific month from that year. I was given 1982 and have started researching it already. I came up with what i think are the top ten interesting facts of 1982:


1. The Falklands war started on 2nd of April and finished on
14th June.
2. All nine planets aligned on 10th March.
3. Star wars Empire Strikes Back the game came out.
4. Blade-runner came out on 25th June.
5. The Rubik’s Cube world championship was on 5th June and held
in Budapest.
6. Channel 4 first aired on 2nd November.
7. The Government gave the go ahead for satellite T.V.
8. The fifth doctor Who (of 1982) was Peter Davison.
9. C.D’s were first introduced in Germany on the 17th of August.
10.Michael Jackson’s number 1 Album Thriller became the best
selling album of all time!
