Wabi- Sabi

I came across this group on Flickr called "the wabi-sabi aesthetic" and i immediately wanted to know more! After doing a bit of research on the web i found out more about it and i thought it was a really intriguing concept. In its simplest form it is a concept/aesthetic that is a beauty of things imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete, the beauty of things modest and humble and the beauty of things unconventional. It stems from Buddhist principles of all things being impermanent, imperfect and incomplete. I joined the group and uploaded an image that i thought was appropriate and i will produce more work/photographs and research it more. The image i added to the group was:
