What is a book? - Sarah Mitchell

I first saw Sarah's work at the Leeds Met University exhibition in 2006 and i have loved it ever since. I think the simple use of colour and experimentation of format and styles is what makes her work really interesting and it shows the product for the quality item it is. I am experimenting with book binding on my current project '100 book brief' and as she is working at my university in the print department she is going to be showing me various ways to experiment with binding techniques, im so excited to experiment with binding and books as it is one of my favourite things to play around with.
