What is a book? - 100 Book Brief

The following image is of an existing book and box package, i think the detail and simplicity are what makes this image interesting.



This is an image of Japanese books. I really like the simple colours and text, i think the visual idenity between them creates a good image.



I think the simplicity of this image is interesting as it is jut made up of text and lines. I find Japanese writing interesting as it is very visual and always looks more like an image than a letter form.



I really like the illustrations on these paper swatch packages. I think the neutral colours and simple shape and line make really effective striking images.



These images below are of books i own. I have loved books for a while now and whenever i see a quality book that i think i could use later i just have to get it. I think the way in which the books fasten is quite interesting and the patterns on the books are also quite well suited to my current idea.
